Grade Detail
1
Confirmed A breed judge certifies that the dog belongs to the SBT breed (a birth certificate is necessary since BSL was introduced in France).

First Choice The dog has to go through the TAN (character test) and needs an excellent grading at a Regional or National Breed Show or at a “Special” CACIB.

Excellent The dog has to be confirmed with an excellent grading, and needs an excellent grading in the Youth Class at a National Breed Show.
4
Recommended Confirmed “excellent” TAN tested, and graded as excellent in the Open Class at a Special, Regional Club Breed Show or Championship Show.
5
Elite “B” The dam or sire has to have 4 “recommended’s” (4 points) in the puppies produced to date.
6
Elite “A” The dam or sire has to be a “recommended” (4 points).

Note: Compared to other breeds, the SBT does not yet need PHPV/HC and HD tests to be “recommanded” or “elite”.
